Receive documents from phones and other PCs
Anyone you invite can send you documents: photographed with their phone, or scanned on another Windows PC. Four steps, and the senders need no account.
Create an inbox
In ChronoTwain, open Inboxes, press New inbox and name it: "Invoices", "ID cards", "Delivery notes"… Turn on "Let phones send here" and the inbox gets its own QR code and link.
Share the QR or the link
Show the QR on the screen, print it for the counter, or send the link by WhatsApp or e-mail. One QR per inbox: whoever scans it sends there.
They install ChronoLite Mobile and scan
The free app from Google Play (or ChronoLite on another Windows PC). They scan the QR once, photograph the pages and press Send. End-to-end encrypted: only your PC can open them.
You receive
The document appears in your Input Tray, and the inbox delivers it where you decided: a folder, a PDF, a printer, ChronoScan, M-Files or any TWAIN application.
Good to know
- Senders need no account and pay nothing. Your plan counts what arrives: a free monthly allowance, more with a ChronoScan license.
- One inbox per kind of document. Each inbox has its own QR, its own rules (pages, note, position) and its own destination. Entities let several senders share one inbox and still be told apart.
- Nothing readable leaves the phone. Pages are sealed with the inbox's key before they are uploaded, and deleted from the relay as soon as your PC has them.
